February 20, 2009 - Week 6 of Starvation

Our diet contest is apparently like the economy. Just when you thought it couldn't get worse, another high profile, high flyer takes a giant tumble. This week's "AIG" is Darn Non Coed, who toppled from his lofty #1 perch down to #4. Darn Non Coed may have taken one retreat too many in recent days. Our new leader is Sneezed Rims In, who squeaks to #1 by dropping 4 lb this week. Meal Urge Maniac stays at #2, with Graven Crab Oath staying at #3.

The BIG ToWs are Dark "Ford" Tavern Huff, Torn Men "Chrysler" Rev Clan, and Rink "GM" Arm Fell. The Sales team members are now the only ones over their original weigh-in weight. They are claiming, however, that they have viable plans on eventually losing weight by the middle of May.

Of the 31 participants, only 20 weighed in, and 12 increased their weight over the previous week, and 1 stayed the same. Three people didn't weigh in for religious reasons, citing St. Mulligan's Day, the patron saint of golfers. We also have some that have been mysteriously taking PTOs on Fridays.

On a couple of housekeeping notes, there is nothing different with the scale since we've started using it. Deal with it. Also, for the Easter shutdown, please try to weigh in on one of the two off weeks. Everyone will get a free "Cook Rule" (interpolated weigh-in) then, which will not count for the two we would normally get.
