The BFLG Diet Contest for 2010 has started off well. After the first weigh-in, only Big Human Lap has gained weight (please feel free to mention this to him the next time you see him).

Six people (Hi Squid Bunnies, Meal Urge Maniacs, Thy Error Bites, No Crook, Wry No Bran, and Radon Ebbs) have bonus points for having a starting weight less than a previous diet contest starting/ending weight. In other words, they were able to keep some of the weight off.

The highest BMIs of the contest belong to Dark Tavern Huff (36.2), Team Fool Ambush (32.4) and Darn Non Coed (32.1). The lowest BMIs are I Zap Air Car Figs (20.5), Red Dawn Tater (22.7), and Radon Ebbs (23.8). They are also the only three in the normal BMI range of 20-25.

Currently, the top three are Meal Urge Maniac, Hi Squid Bunnies, and Radon Ebbs. And three people have already lost 2.5 lb (Team Fool Ambush, Darn Non Coed, and Lice Men Cry Jam).

Finally, there are two new people in the contest that haven't participated before: I Zap Air Car Figs and Brain Man Mat Mix. And apparently, people whose last name is towards the start of the alphabet tend to join diet contests. The participation list is given below.
